Andrew McKillop
Andrew is an Engineering New Zealand Fellow, with 40 years’ experience managing and leading engineering programmes. He is the programme director for the Road Efficiency Group Te Ringa Maimoa, a unique and enduring alliance that champions excellence in transport asset management. His in-depth knowledge of policy, governance and operational requirements helps drive outcomes and provides continuous improvement for communities.
Andrew is passionate about supporting the engineering profession and the wider transport sector to develop and grow.
Steve Mutton
Steve Mutton is a well-respected leader with extensive expertise in critical infrastructure, including electricity, gas, and roading networks. He is known for developing strong relationships and fostering collaboration among individuals, teams, and businesses.
At NZTA, Steve has held several senior maintenance and operations roles, including Director of the Auckland Motorway Alliance and Senior Manager for System Management. He also served as the Transport Agency’s Earthquake Recovery Manager, leading the reinstatement of the South Island transport system following the Kaikoura earthquake. Currently, Steve is the Director Regional Relationships for Auckland and Northland, focusing on delivering a better future for these regions.
Steve is passionate about collaborating with the Transport Agency’s stakeholders in both the public and private sectors to drive excellence in infrastructure delivery and improve customer outcomes.
