The REAAA NZ Chapter is an association of people and organisations with a common interest in the science and advancement of road engineering. We facilitate and provide access to topical information through newsletters, seminars, site visits and forums. REAAA (Australia) LVR Symposium 1-3 Oct '25

The Symposium will bring together a range of key stakeholders, industry leaders, practitioners and decision-makers to share their wealth of knowledge and discuss ways to drive improved LVR outcomes.

The important themes that the Symposium will focus on, are:

  • Resilience & Sustainability
  • Skills & Education
  • Transport & Freight
  • Community & Local Government

The Symposium venue is the Double Tree by Hilton, Alice Springs where the technical program will be staged. The Welcome Social Get-together will be held that evening concurrent with the Official Opening of the Exhibition/Display viewing. The following day the technical sessions continue, following which Delegates will be transferred to the Alice Springs Golf and Bowls Club in time to witness the magnificence of the Central Australian Sunset. The Symposium Dinner event will be staged in a truly relaxing mode reflecting the manner of life in the red centre.

The Friday morning will provide for a site visit to local location/s to witness LVR construction firsthand and hear from the operators the details of the project and the methods employed to achieve optimum outcomes in the challenging circumstances face in such an environment experience in central Australia.
