presented by John Kreft, Principal Geohazards Specialist & Digital Lead, WSP

28 May 2026

The Nevis Bluff Digital Twin is transforming geohazard management from fragmented, paper-based processes into a fully integrated, data-driven environment. This session will showcase how high-resolution 3D modelling, real-time monitoring, and AI-powered data extraction are combined to improve safety, enable proactive risk management, and support smarter investment decisions at one of New Zealand’s highest-risk rockfall sites. Also explored is how this scalable approach is setting a new benchmark for digital asset management and infrastructure resilience across the transport network.
