Pavement layer compaction – Laboratory to construction
Since the 2020 pavement performance review, NZTA has been working hard with industry to improve our practices in materials testing and characterisation, pavement design, and construction specification. The result of this has been the recent release of T24 and T28, and the changeover to NDM Direct Transmission for compliance testing.
This short webinar will provide a brief overview of compaction theory, and some background to the two new test methods.
